Our Cheap City
 
With the economy going into freefall in late 2008, a couple in New York City started thinking about ways to cut back their expenses.  They talked to their friends, walked around their neighborhood, and searched the internet looking for deals.  They were lucky sometimes and found some good deals and discounts.  But they couldn't find an easy centralized place to get information on how to enjoy themselves on the cheap.
 
So, they created Our Cheap City, as a way to create a community of people looking to live well while spending less in various cities.  They hope Our Cheap City gives people a useful and easy to use forum for swapping ideas and suggestions on how to save money while living well.
